MJF is officially number two after the events of AEW Dynamite.
The former AEW World Champion earned the second spot in the men’s Casino Gauntlet match at next Saturday’s AEW All In: Texas, guaranteeing him the opportunity to compete for a future World title shot.
MJF submitted AR Fox in a four-way that also included Anthony Bowens and Brody King.
He now will take on Mark Briscoe who earned the top spot on last week’s Dynamite after having a verbal confrontation with MJF. They two exchanged words again this week with Briscoe challenging MJF to an in-ring confrontation next week.
While Kris Statlander holds the top spot in the women’s gauntlet, a match for the second spot has yet to be announced.
