MJF wins International Championship at AEW Dynamite 250

MJF is the new AEW International Champion.
Maxwell Jacob Friedman defeated Will Ospreay in the opening contest on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite 250 to win the title in a bout that nearly went to a time limit draw.
MJF scored the pinfall victory over Ospreay after hitting the champ with the Dynamite Diamond ring after a referee bump, winning the bout with just two seconds remaining in the 60 minute time limit.
The result of the contest and the underhanded finish sets up a potential rematch for All In at Wembley Stadium next month, although the rematch has yet to be confirmed.
In addition to the ref bump and the Dynamite Diamond ring shot, Ospreay had the match won had he decided to use the Tiger Driver 91. Ospreay’s hesitation and continued vow not to use the move that caused a storyline injury to Bryan Danielson allowed MJF to push Ospreay into the referee to set up the finish.
