MJF vs. Bryan Danielson made official for AEW Revolution

The AEW World Championship match has been confirmed for next month’s Revolution event.
With Bryan Danielson’s win over Rush on Wednesday’s Dynamite, Danielson has met MJF’s requirements of winning every match between January 11 and February 8, confirming the 60-minute iron man match for Revolution on March 5 in San Francisco. After Danielson defeated Rush in a bloody match, MJF came in and attacked Danielson, laying out security and putting Danielson in an armbar.
Danielson had challenged MJF last month following a storyline where MJF took out Danielson’s mentor, William Regal. MJF eventually said he would agree to the match if Danielson continued to win his matches up to February 8. Danielson agreed.
Prior to Wednesday’s match, MJF had attempted to barricade Danielson in the trainer’s room, where Danielson was checking in on Konosuke Takeshita after he had been attacked by MJF after their match that opened the show. Danielson managed to break the door down and reached the ring before the referee could count to ten.
During the last several weeks, Danielson has defeated the likes of Takeshita, Bandido, Brian Cage, and Timothy Thatcher prior to his match on Wednesday against Rush.
