MJF retains Dynamite Diamond Ring, Undisputed Kingdom reunite at AEW Worlds End

MJF has the ring, but Adam Cole gets the last laugh.
The former AEW World Champion defeated Cole to keeep the Dynamite Diamond Ring at Worlds End on Saturday, seemingly ending their year-long feud that started at the end of the 2023 event last December. The finish had Cole looking to use the ring as Matt Taven & Mike Bennett distracted the referee at ringside as they were being ejected. However, MJF responded with a low blow and pinned Cole after using the heatseeker to retain control of the ring for another year.
After the match, MJF attempted to injure Cole further by wrapping a chair around his injured ankle. However, Roderick Strong came out for the save. MJF attempted to leave, but was stopped by Kyle O’Reilly on the entrance stage, who proceeded to throw MJF back into the ring. They, along with Cole, Taven, & Bennett laid out MJF as they celebrated in the ring, officially reuniting in full.
Despite Cole having turned on MJF last year, Cole returned as a babyface going after MJF, who had turned back heel during Cole’s recovery. Cole and O’Reilly were the final two participants in the Dynamite Diamond Ring battle royal to determine who would face MJF next. The two faced off in the finals at Dynamite Winter is Coming earlier this month, with Cole emerging victorious.
