Mercedes Mone vs. CMLL’s Reyna Isis part of AEW Collision lineup

Days before she faces Jamie Hayter in the finals of the women’s Owen Hart Foundation tournament at AEW Double or Nothing, reigning TBS Champion Mercedes Mone will put her title on the line as part of a special Thursday edition of AEW Collision.

Announced during Wednesday’s Dynamite, Mone will defend against CMLL’s Reyna Isis who answered an open challenge. This will be their first-ever match against each other.

Mone is coming up on one year as champion after winning the title at last year’s Double or Nothing with 16 successful title defenses to her name. Isis will be making her AEW debut, but did wrestle twice for Ring of Honor last October.

The show is airing on TBS Thursday due to the NHL playoffs this Saturday on TNT.

After being announced as challenging AEW Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada on Sunday, “Speedball” Mike Bailey will team with Komander to battle Rush & Dralistico.

The show will also feature a contract signing for the Sunday tag team match between FTR and Daniel Garcia & Nigel McGuinness; a singles match between Kyle Fletcher and Jay Lethal; and a tag team bout between Paragon and the returning Grizzled Young Veterans.
