Mark Briscoe appearance set for AEW Rampage
For the first time, Mark Briscoe will appear on Friday’s AEW Rampage.
This will be Briscoe’s first appearance on AEW TV since defeating Jay Lethal last month in a Dynamite tribute match to his late brother, Jay Briscoe. That night was Mark’s AEW debut after WBD lifted a ban on both brothers appearing on AEW TV due to Jay’s past tweets and the duo wearing Confederate flag ring gear in the past.
For now, the Briscoes are still recognized as the Ring of Honor Tag Team Champions.
The show will also feature the Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta) in trios action as they face The Butcher and The Blade & Kip Sabian.
“Jungle Boy” Jack Perry will be in singles action against an opponent to be named as he continues his quest for gold this year. Perry will be looking for his fourth straight singles win dating back to November’s Full Gear.
Ruby Soho will take on Marina Shafir in singles action to round out the card. Soho will be gunning for her third straight singles win after recently knocking off Tay Melo and Toni Storm.
