Mariah May & Serena Deeb vs. Queen Aminata & Yuka Sakazaki set for AEW Dynamite

A tag team match has been added to AEW Dynamite.

Queen Aminata will team with Yuka Sakazaki to take on AEW Women’s Champion Mariah May and Serena Deeb. The match comes following events that took place on Saturday’s AEW Collision.

Yuka Sakazaki backstage came up to Mariah May and said she wanted a championship match. After Sakazaki defeated Deeb, she was celebrating on the entrance ramp when May, who was a guest commentator, attacked Sakazaki from behind and went to put her in the Storm zero. However, Sakazaki escaped and laid out May, holding the title before giving it back.

Earlier in the show, Deeb told Aminata that she wasn’t ready to challenge May for the title and again suggested they join forces. Aminata rejected the offer, and after Deeb lost to Sakazaki mocked Deeb backstage before going out for her match against Robyn Renegade. After Aminata won, Deeb jumped her and put her in an ankle lock.
