Rosa revealed on Tuesday that Bexar County, Texas has now proclaimed March 16 to be “Thunder Rosa Day” in commemoration of her title win.

Rosa’s Mission Pro Wrestling promotion will also be running a charity event to benefit The Salvation Army San Antonio on April 16. The show is titled “Living on the Edge” and funds raised will go specifically to after-school programs in the city’s Southside.
“That’s one of the parts of the city that needs the most help because of the socioeconomics that exist there,” Rosa said to KENS 5 News. “After school programs are so key for a lot of these kids because this is like a safe haven for them.”
