Malakai Black vs. Christopher Daniels announced for AEW Rampage

Malakai Black will be in action on the next AEW Rampage.

Christopher Daniels on Saturday issued a challenge to Black, saying it wasn’t about tenure in AEW, but about wins. He asked Black if he had the guts to take on someone face-to-face instead of attacking them from behind.

Saturday’s show saw Adam Copeland defeat Matt Cardona to retain the TNT Championship. After the match, the lights went out and when they came back on, Black appeared. Buddy Matthews attacked Copeland from behind, who was then saved by both Mark Briscoe and Eddie Kingston. A six-man tag team match pitting The House of Black against Copeland, Kingston, and Briscoe was then announced for AEW Dynasty next month in St. Louis.

Daniels has mostly made appearances on AEW Rampage and ROH, racking up several losses against the likes of Konosuke Takeshita, Kyle Fletcher, Private Party, and Angelico. His last win took place on ROH TV in January, defeating Lee Johnson.

Here is the lineup so far for next week’s AEW Rampage:
