Konosuke Takeshita departs United States after four-month excursion

Konosuke Takeshita is returning to Japan after a four-month stay in the United States.
The DDT/AEW wrestler took to social media on Friday to thank fans for “being so nice” to him during his time in the country.
“Today I am leaving America. I have so many great memories of the last 4 months. Thank you all for being so nice to me,” Takeshita posted to Twitter.
Takeshita’s first match on his American excursion was a win over Brandon Cutler on an episode of AEW Dark filmed on April 20. He would wrestle for the promotion 15 times over the coming months. Some of his more notable matches while on excursion include his loss to ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli at Battle of the Belts III and his AEW World Title eliminator match against Jon Moxley on the July 13 edition of Dynamite.
While in the United States, Takeshita also performed for promotions such as DEFY, PWG, and West Coast Pro.
