Kenny Omega, Young Bucks not appearing live on next AEW Dynamite & Collision

This story was updated on Tuesday at 9:30 PM Eastern.
Neither Kenny Omega or The Young Bucks will appear live on this Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite or this Saturday’s AEW Collision, according to Dave Meltzer.
Meltzer tweeted that it was a Tony Khan decision.
This Wednesday’s show will emanate from Chicago, Illinois, at the Wintrust Arena while Saturday’s show will be held in Toronto, Canada, at the Scotiabank Arena — the same venue for Sunday’s Forbidden Door pay-per-view.
Omega will take on Will Ospreay Sunday in a rematch from January’s Wrestle Kingdom 17. At the end of last week’s Dynamite, he was about to exact some revenge on Konosuke Takeshita before he was taken out by Ospreay in a surprise attack.
As of now, the Bucks and Hangman Page have no matches announced for Sunday. They defeated the Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta & Claudio Castagnoli) in the main event of last Wednesday’s Dynamite.
Meltzer tweeted all three will be doing pre-tapes to build to Sunday’s PPV.
Here’s the current Dynamite lineup as nothing has been announced for Collision as of this writing:
- TBS Champion Kris Statlander defends against Taya Valkyrie
- Concession stand brawl: Jeff Jarrett vs. Mark Briscoe
- Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara & Minoru Suzuki vs. Action Andretti, Darius Martin & AR Fox
- Blind eliminator tournament for an AEW Tag Team title shot
- The Hardys vs. The Gunns
