Kenny Omega to defend AAA Mega title at Rey de Reyes
Lucha Libre AAA has revealed when Kenny Omega will be making his next Mega title defense
Omega will defend his AAA Mega Championship against Laredo Kid at this year’s Rey de Reyes event. The show is taking place at Poliforum Zamna in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico on Saturday, March 21 and will air live on Twitch.
Omega has defended the Mega title twice since winning it from Fenix at AAA Heroes Inmortales in October. One of those defenses was on an episode of AEW Dark, with him defeating Jack Evans in November. Omega also retained against Dragon Lee at AAA’s Triplemania Regia in December.
At AEW’s Fyter Fest and AAA’s Triplemania XXVII last year, Omega & The Young Bucks traded wins with Pentagon Jr., Fenix & Laredo Kid in six-man tag matches.
Pentagon Jr. & Fenix will defend their AAA Tag Team titles against The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier & Zachary Wentz) at Rey de Reyes. The show will be headlined by Psycho Clown, Monsther Clown & Murder Clown vs. Rush, LA Park & Bestia del Ring.
