Keith Lee returns to AEW on Rampage, attacks Swerve Strickland

Keith Lee made his return to television on Friday’s AEW Rampage.
The main event of the show had Dustin Rhodes defeating Swerve Strickland by disqualification after Parker Boudreaux interfered, grabbing Rhodes and throwing him into the steel steps. The two continued to attack Rhodes, with Boudreaux grabbing a cinder block and placing it under Rhodes’ head. Swerve was about to launch off with a foot stomp when Lee made his return, attacking Boudreaux as both he and Swerve bailed.
Lee has been out of action since December, when Swerve and his new group called Mogul Affiliates attacked Lee during what was scheduled to be a mediation between Lee and Swerve. Bordeaux and another man that was later identified as Trench held Lee down on a table as Swerve placed a cinder block on Lee then launched off with the foot stomp, injuring Lee.
In recent weeks, Swerve had been directing his attention towards Rhodes, running down his family. After a brawl backstage on last week’s Rampage, the match was made for Friday night.
