Jon Moxley vs. Shawn Spears announced for week two of AEW TV


AEW has announced another match for their second television episode.
Jon Moxley vs. Shawn Spears is set for week two of AEW TV, which is taking place at the Agganis Arena in Boston, Massachusetts on Wednesday, October 9. The announcement comes in advance of tickets for the show going on sale at noon Eastern time this Friday.
The Young Bucks vs. Private Party has also been confirmed for the Boston episode. It will be a first round match in AEW’s Tag Team title tournament.
Moxley vs. Kenny Omega and Spears vs. Cody Rhodes are set for AEW’s All Out pay-per-view on August 31. Spears vs. Cody has a stipulation where they’ll each only be allowed to have one person in their corner. Spears is being managed by Tully Blanchard.
In his first match for AEW, Moxley defeated Joey Janela at Fyter Fest. Spears took part in the Casino Battle Royale at Double or Nothing and teamed with Sammy Guevara & MJF to defeat Darby Allin, Jimmy Havoc & Janela at Fight for the Fallen.
The Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. is hosting AEW’s first TV episode of October 2. Week three will take place at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on October 16.
AEW TV will air live on TNT on Wednesdays from 8-10 p.m. Eastern time.
