Jon Moxley not medically cleared for AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday

AEW has announced that Jon Moxley was not medically cleared to compete at Dynamite Title Tuesday.
Company owner Tony Khan addressed Moxley’s status for Dynamite during The Buy-In pre-show on YouTube, stating that while Moxley is on the road to recovery, AEW doctors would not clear him to compete as scheduled against Rey Fenix in an International Championship match. Instead, Orange Cassidy was revealed as the substitute challenger for Fenix’s title.
Moxley was injured in a match against Fenix at Dynamite Grand Slam on September 20. It was reported that he had suffered a mild concussion in his match against Fenix that night. Moxley called an audible and changed the finish of that bout on the fly, making the decision to put Fenix over for the title in a bout that Moxley was set to win.
Moxley was also unable to compete at a Wrestling Revolver event this past weekend where he had been scheduled to take on Gringo Loco. Rich Swann substituted for Moxley in that match. Moxley did appear in front of the live crowd at the event.
