Moxley & Castagnoli vs. The Butcher & The Blade set for AEW Rampage
AEW World Champion Jon Moxley will team with Claudio Castagnoli against The Butcher & The Blade on Friday’s AEW Rampage.
In a backstage promo Wednesday, Butcher & Blade took issue with how Castagnoli treated Private Party last week spinning them both around in an airplane spin and wanted a fight with the Blackpool Combat Club members.
Friday’s show (which is being taped Thursday in Toronto, Canada) will also see multi-promotional tag team champions FTR team with the returning Shawn Spears against The Embassy’s Brian Cage & The Gates of Agony. After months away, Spears made his surprise return Wednesday.
Ethan Page will take on Isiah Kassidy of Private Party where if Page wins, Matt Hardy must join The Firm. If Kassidy wins, Kassidy and Marq Quen are released from their deal with The Firm who bought their contracts Wednesday from the Andrade Family Office.
Nyla Rose will also take on Anna Jay-AS with the former still carrying TBS Champion Jade Cargill’s stolen belt in tow.
