Jeff Hardy, Rey Fenix qualify for men’s Owen Hart Foundation tournament

Jeff Hardy and Rey Fenix have qualified for the men’s Owen Hart Foundation tournament that begins next week.

Hardy defeated Bobby Fish with a swanton to advance in the opening of tonight’s Dynamite. Later in the show, Fenix advanced, pinning Dante Martin with a falcon arrow driver.

Already qualified for the men’s Owen Hart Foundation tournament include Samoa Joe, Kyle O’Reilly, Adam Cole, Dax Harwood, and Darby Allin. Brackets revealed during the show has  Cole facing Harwood, Fenix vs. O’Reilly, Hardy vs. Allin, and Joe vs. a mystery “joker” opponent. Cole vs. Harwood and Hardy vs. Allin will take place on next week’s Dynamite.

On the women’s side, Toni Storm, Jamie Hayter, Hikaru Shida, Red Velvet, Ruby Soho, and Britt Baker have qualified. The final qualifying match, Yuka Sakazaki vs. Riho, will take place on Rampage this Friday.

Both tournament finals will take place at Double or Nothing on May 29 in Las Vegas.
