Jay White to face Hangman Page at AEW Full Gear

Full Gear 2024 will host the next chapter in Jay White and Hangman Page’s feud.

After defeating Shane Taylor on AEW Collision tonight, White cut a promo challenging Page to face him at the Saturday, November 23 pay-per-view. It was announced later in the night that Tony Khan has made the match official. Page will address White and their Full Gear match while appearing on Dynamite this coming Wednesday.

This will be the second straight AEW PPV where White and Page have faced each other. White defeated Page at WrestleDream earlier this month, giving him a 4-1 record over Page through the course of their careers. White touted in his promo tonight that — at every step — he has always been ahead of Page. He offered Page a chance at redemption by facing him at Full Gear.

Following his loss at WrestleDream, Page cost White a match against Christian Cage on Dynamite last week. There was an angle this Wednesday where Page came up limping while fending off an attack by the Bang Bang Gang. White has referenced that storyline injury in his promos against Page.

Page’s one victory against White was in the Owen Hart Foundation tournament this summer. Interference by Christian led to White losing that match.

The Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey wil be the venue for Full Gear.
