Jamie Hayter vs. Riho set for April 5 AEW Dynamite

A match for the AEW Women’s Championship has been made for the April 5 edition of Dynamite.

Former champion Rhio will challenge current champion Jamie Hayter. The match was announced during Monday’s AEW Dark: Elevation. On commentary, it was mentioned that Riho is currently the number one contender for the championship.

Since returning to action in late February, Riho has been picking up wins. On the March 1 edition of Dynamite, she defeated Toni Storm. She’s also defeated the likes of Emi Sakura, Nyla Rose, and Diamante, who she wrestled and defeated on Elevation.

The only other match announced for the April 5 edition of Dynamite is Ricky Starks facing Juice Robinson. After Robinson blindsided Starks on a recent edition of Dynamite, Starks called out Robinson to challenge him to a match this past Friday on Rampage. Robinson refused, saying he wouldn’t do it in Missouri and instead would wrestle in New York.
