Jamie Hayter challenges Julia Hart for AEW Dynamite Fight for the Fallen

A match weeks in the making appears to be a go for the first AEW Dynamite of the Max simulcast era as Jamie Hayter challenged Julia Hart for the January 1st Fight for the Fallen episode.

Hayter issued the challenge during Wednesday’s Holiday Bash episode after Hart laid her out following her defeat to Willow Nightingale in an International Women’s Cup qualifier on last Saturday’s Collision. That was preceded by several weeks of Hart return vignettes that eventually transitioned into Hayter as her first target with in-arena blackouts.

Hart has been out of action since undergoing shoulder surgery in May and said as recently as October that she was ready to return and was just waiting for the call.

Assuming the match is official, it will be the 23-year-old’s first action since April’s Dynasty when she lost the TBS title to Nightingale. It will also be the first time the two have ever shared the ring.
