Jake “The Snake” Roberts has re-signed with AEW.

Roberts revealed on a yet-to-be-released episode of The Snake Pit that he’s agreed to a one-year deal to remain in the promotion.

SEScoops was the first to report the news and also published transcripts of Roberts’ comments.

Roberts said, “Well folks, just to let you know, you’re gonna be looking at me on AEW for another year. That’s right, they re-signed me so that’s great news. Looking forward to doing it.”

Roberts has managed Lance Archer since early 2020 in AEW. In November 2023, he aligned with The Righteous’ Vincent and Dutch as well. He told his podcast co-host Marcus DeAngelo that he would like to bring his “Snake Pit” stable back to AEW television.

Roberts continued, “Crossing my fingers that – wouldn’t be something if we started the ‘Snake Pit’ back up? Listen, I’d love to talk to Tony about that. I’m damn sure gonna pitch it.”

Roberts also teased possibly doing something similar to Chris Jericho’s Rock N Rager at Sea.

Roberts is also a special advisor to AEW Together, the promotion’s community outreach team. The team also includes Paul Wight, Mark Henry, and Shawn Dean.

“Everybody’s been on a Jericho Cruise, but have you been on the Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts cruise? That’s on the way so folks get ready, we’re gonna take it out on the middle of the ocean and do what I do,” he said.

The full episode of The Snake Pit will be released on Tuesday on AdFreeShows.com.
