International title match booked for AEW Collision

Will Ospreay will make his first International title defense on Saturday’s Collision.

AEW announced during Wednesday’s Dynamite that Ospreay will defend the International Championship against Kyle O’Reilly on the Saturday, June 1 Collision.

Ospreay’s eventful week in AEW will continue Saturday with his first title defense after defeating Roderick Strong for the Championship at Sunday’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view. Ospreay also won the casino gauntlet match on Wednesday’s Dynamite to earn a shot at Swerve Strickland’s AEW World Championship at Forbidden Door.

O’Reilly will have a tune-up match against an unnamed opponent on Friday’s Rampage, which airs at the special start time of 6:30 p.m. Eastern time on TNT.

Saturday’s bout will be the second time that O’Reilly has challenged for the International title, as he faced Strong for the belt at April’s Dynasty pay-per-view in a losing effort.
