Hangman Page teaming with Dark Order in AEW Trios title tournament on Rampage
John Silver and Alex Reynolds have found a new partner for their AEW World Trios title tournament match on Friday’s live Rampage.
After 10 was taken off the team with a storyline knee injury and Evil Uno was then eliminated as a potential partner after a backstage attack on Wednesday’s Dynamite, Hangman Page extended a hand to the Dark Order duo and offered to substitute as their partner in their semifinal bout against Orange Cassidy and Best Friends on Friday.
The winner of Page, Silver & Reynolds vs. Cassidy & Best Friends will face Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks in the tournament final at Sunday’s All Out to crown the first AEW World Trios Champions.
Two more matches were announced for Rampage during Wednesday’s show.
In a rematch from last week’s episode, Ruby Soho and Ortiz will face AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions Tay Melo and Sammy Guevara in a non-title match. Ricky Starks will also take on QT Marshall following The Factory’s assault on him last week.
