Hangman Page makes return on AEW Dynamite as Owen Hart Foundation tournament participant

Hangman Page is back.

Page ended up being The Elite’s wildcard pick in the Owen Hart Foundation tournament, returning to in-ring action on AEW Dynamite. He ended up defeating Jeff Jarrett after giving him a deadeye. He will now wrestle on Saturday’s AEW Collision, where he will face Jay White in a tournament semifinal. The winner of that match will face Bryan Danielson in the finals on next week’s AEW Dynamite in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

After the match, The Young Bucks congratulated Hangman Page backstage on his victory and offered him the fifth spot in their upcoming Blood and Guts match. Page instead grabbed Matthew Jackson and told him that he wasn’t The Elite’s puppet anymore and he was going to focus on winning the Owen Hart tournament. The embarrassed Young Bucks then ordered the cameras off.

Page had taken time off following AEW Revolution, where he lost a three-way match against Swerve Strickland and Samoa Joe in a match that had been for the AEW World title. Soon after, The Young Bucks announced Page had been suspended from The Elite in storyline.
