Hangman Page announces he has COVID-19, will miss AEW Dynamite

Hangman Page has COVID-19 and will not be on AEW Dynamite. 

The AEW World Champion took to social media on Wednesday morning to announce he will not be on this week’s show. 

“[AEW Dynamite] is tonight at 8pm on tbs but i will not be on there because my face is full of covid snot, sorry. please enjoy regardless,” he wrote on Twitter.

On the April 20 edition of Dynamite, Page and CM Punk had a brief stare down after Punk defeated Dustin Rhodes in singles competition. 

The lineup for tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite from the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia is as follows:

  • Hikaru Shida vs. Serena Deeb street fight
  • Lance Archer vs. Wardlow
  • Owen Hart Foundation Tournament qualifier: Dax Harwood vs. Cash Wheeler
  • TNT Champion Sammy Guevara defends against Scorpio Sky in a ladder match
  • The Undisputed Elite (Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, Bobby Fish, Matt & Nick Jackson) vs. The Varsity Blonds (Griff Garrison & Brian Pillman Jr.), Dante Martin, Lee Johnson and Brock Anderson
