Elite vs. Conglomeration trios match added to AEW Dynamite
A new match announcement has been made for this week’s WrestleDream fallout edition of AEW Dynamite.
The Elite (Kazuchika Okada & The Young Bucks) will team up against The Conglomeration (Kyle O’Reilly, Orange Cassidy & Rocky Romero) in trios action this Wednesday night. The match will continue the build to a likely AEW Continental Championship match between Okada and O’Reilly.
During the WrestleDream pre-show, there was an angle where O’Reilly interrupted a backstage interview with Okada. O’Reilly — who said he has nothing but respect for Okada — wanted to challenge him for the Continental title. Okada turned down the challenge and called O’Reilly a “bitch,” which led to a brawl between the two.
Okada and O’Reilly were ejected from the arena at WrestleDream as part of the angle. Later in the night, The Young Bucks retained their AEW Tag Team titles against Private Party.
The SAP Center in San Jose, California is the venue for this week’s Dynamite. Here’s everything that’s been announced for the show so far:
