Don Callis to corner Hijo del Vikingo vs. Kenny Omega at AAA Triplemania

The deck is stacked against Kenny Omega at Triplemania. 

AAA announced on Friday that Don Callis will be in El Hijo del Vikingo’s corner on Saturday’s show as he looks to defend his Mega Championship against Omega. The promotion posted a video of Callis revealing the news to Tony Schiavone while backstage at this week’s AEW Dynamite. 

Callis had the following to say after Schiavone caught him coming out of Vikingo’s locker room. 

“I’m having a meeting because as has been well publicized, since betraying me in the way that he did, Kenny Omega is now 0-4 in big matches without Don Callis, that probably tells you a little something.  So, as much as I’m not interested to descend on the country of Mexico, I’ll make a special exception right now because I just gave El Hijo del Vikingo the secret sauce to make Kenny Omega go 0-5.”

Callis also posted this message to Omega on Twitter;

Saturday’s show will be broadcast on FITE TV.
