Deonna Purrazzo returning to GCW for three shows

AEW wrestler Deonna Purrazzo is returning to GCW for three shows this summer.

Game Changer Wrestling has announced that Purrazzo will be in action for the promotion on July 19, August 1, and August 2. The first show is being held in Coney Island, New York while the latter two are set for Rutherford in Purrazzo’s home state of New Jersey. Opponents for Purrazzo have not been announced yet.

All three events will air live on TrillerTV+. The New Jersey dates are happening at the same time as the state hosts WWE SummerSlam weekend.

In 2015-2016, Purrazzo competed for GCW in the early stages of the promotion. She was the last wrestler to hold GCW’s now-defunct Women’s Championship.

Purrazzo signed with AEW at the start of 2024 and is currently part of the ROH women’s division. Along with these GCW appearances, she has upcoming indie dates for Love Pro Wrestling in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada (May 30) and Wrestling Revolver in Clive, Iowa (June 14).
