Date announced for AEW Battle of the Belts X

The next Battle of the Belts has been announced.

During Saturday’s AEW Collision, Battle of the Belts X was announced for April 13 Truist Arena in Highland, Kentucky. It will air immediately after AEW Collision, creating a three-hour block of AEW programming on that Saturday.

Battle of the Belts has aired quarterly since its first show in January of 2022. The first-ever event saw Sammy Guevara defeat Dustin Rhodes to become the interim TNT Champion. Previous specials have aired in January, April, July/August, and October. More recently, they have begun airing live following Collision.

The last episode of Battle of the Belts aired on January 13. In the main event, Ricky Starks and Big Bill successfully retained the titles against Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara in a street fight. Other matches had Julia Hart defeat Anna Jay to retain the TBS Championship, and Orange Cassidy defeated Preston Vance to retain the AEW International title.
