Dark Order’s Stu Grayson confirms AEW departure

Stu Grayson has confirmed his departure from AEW.
Grayson wrote on social media that his contract with the company expired on April 30, thanking the production team as well as his Dark Order stablemates.
“On April 30th my contract with AEW expired,” he wrote on Twitter. “Best of luck to everyone working for AEW, our great production and medical team and of course every man and [woman] who steps into the ring. And to my Dark Order family, I hope the world will soon see what you are truly capable of.”
Dave Meltzer wrote earlier this week that Grayson and AEW had parted ways after both sides were unable to come to a new deal. Grayson has since been removed from AEW’s roster page.
Grayson, along with longtime tag team partner Evil Uno, made their debut at AEW Double or Nothing 2019. Prior to signing with AEW, the duo were known as the Super Smash Bros., winning championships in promotions such as Chikara and PWG.
