Dark Order vs. House of Black set for AEW Rampage
Dark Order’s John Silver & Alex Reynolds will take on Brody King & Malakai Black of the House of Black on Friday’s AEW Rampage.
The match was initially announced as a trios match in a backstage promo Wednesday on Dynamite when Hangman Page was talking to Tony Schiavone about being eliminated by King in the Royal Rampage. Silver & Reynolds walked in, consoled him and issued the challenge.
On Thursday, AEW announced it as a tag team bout instead.
In another new match, Athena & Kris Statlander will be in tag team action. That was announced in a backstage segment with TBS Champion Jade Cargill and The Baddies, foreshadowing a future tag team match.
The new additions join the previously announced ROH World title match between champion Jonathan Gresham and Lee Moriarty, Private Party vs. Lucha Brothers, and the Gunn Club explaining why they turned on The Acclaimed.
