Darby Allin medically cleared to return at AEW Dynamite 250

Darby Allin says he’s medically cleared and ready to make his AEW return at Dynamite 250.
Although Allin is not advertised for a segment on tonight’s show at the Simmons Bank Arena in Little Rock, he told Friday Night Fights yesterday that he is planning on making his return at the event.
“Tomorrow in Little Rock, Dynamite 250, it’s actually my return again,” Allin said on the show.
“I broke my foot two months ago and then got hit by a bus and broke my nose and then returned to the ring. I had one match and I was hung upside down with a rope by my ankles and then kicked in the face with shoes that had superglued thumbtacks to the bottom of them.”
Allin revealed that the thumbtacks injured the septum of his already broken nose.
“The thumbtacks got stuck in my lip and it kind of messed up my septum, and blood was squirting everywhere. So I am medically cleared after all that and I am back to rock in Little Rock. It’s going to be fun. I got a lot of crazy stuff planned.”
Allin has had an eventful 2024 thus far. He originally planned to climb Mount Everest earlier this year but ended up having to abandon those plans after suffering a broken foot in his match against Jay White at AEW Big Business. He was then hit by a bus the following month and suffered a broken nose. Despite those injuries, he still wrestled in the Anarchy in the Arena match at Double or Nothing as a replacement for Eddie Kingston, who broke his leg at NJPW Resurgence on May 11.
