Concession stand brawl, TBS title match added to AEW Dynamite

A concession stand match, as well as a TBS title defense, are set for this Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite.

During Saturday’s debut of AEW Collision, Jeff Jarrett challenged Mark Briscoe to a concession stand brawl. Jarrett, his wife Karen, and Jay Lethal faced Mark Briscoe, Papa Briscoe, and Aubrey Edwards in a mixed tag match on Rampage. In his promo, Jarrett brought up the Tupelo concession stand brawl back in the Memphis territory and said there would be no Karen or Dutt this Wednesday, but only himself and Briscoe.

A match for the TBS Championship was also set with champion Kris Statlander defending against Taya Valkyrie. The two exchanged words on Rampage with Valkyrie accusing Statlander of stealing her thunder when Statlander defeated Jade Cargill for the title at Double or Nothing.

The company also announced a “blind eliminator tournament” for Wednesday, where the winners will get a shot at the AEW Tag Team titles. Neither participants in the tournament, nor the format, were announced.

Minoru Suzuki will also make his return to AEW, teaming with Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara against Action Andretti, Darius Martin & AR Fox. On Dynamite this past week, Jericho suggested he and Guevara team with one another after tensions started to flare between the two.

Here is the updated lineup for Wednesday’s Dynamite:

  • TBS Champion Kris Statlander defends against Taya Valkyrie
  • Jeff Jarrett vs. Mark Briscoe in a concession stand brawl
  • Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara & Minoru Suzuki vs. Action Andretti, Darius Martin & AR Fox
