Cody Rhodes vs. Peter Avalon announced for AEW Dynamite

For the first time ever, Cody Rhodes will face Peter Avalon on this Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite.

Avalon is riding a five match winning streak, all accomplished on Dark since adopting the “Pretty” moniker. This will be his first appearance on Dynamite since May when he was in a battle royal for a shot at the TNT Championship.

Rhodes (with Arn Anderson) will be looking for his third straight singles win. He was a guest on Britt Baker’s Waiting Room last Wednesday which led to Jade Cargill both confronting and slapping him before Red Velvet intervened to start a brawl.
