CM Punk/Eddie Kingston face-to-face set for AEW Rampage

CM Punk and Eddie Kingston will have a face-to-face confrontation on this Friday’s live edition of AEW Rampage.

On Wednesday’s Dynamite, Punk did an in-ring promo where he said there’s no beef between he and Kingston but that he would fight him if he was there. Punk then said he will be in St. Louis to await Kingston’s apology for interrupting a promo he did on last week’s Rampage.

He also said Kingston’s absence was the reason he didn’t fill in for Jon Moxley for Wednesday’s World title eliminator tournament semifinal against Orange Cassidy.

It’s expected that the two will face each other at the Full Gear pay-per-view on Saturday, November 13th.

The segment joins two already announced matches as The Elite’s Adam Cole will face John Silver of the Dark Order for the first time ever. This was set into motion based on the recent Hangman Page/Dark Order vs. The Elite storyline that also extended to BTE.

The other match will be the final first round match in the TBS title tournament as The Bunny faces Red Velvet. The winner will move on to face Jade Cargill, who earned a bye, in the second round.
