CM Punk vs. Shawn Spears, Adam Cole & Britt Baker tag team match set for AEW Dynamite

As part of his quest to face MJF, CM Punk will next need to go through Shawn Spears on next Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite.

Punk defeated Wardlow Wednesday and MJF later came out to cut a fiery promo where he said The Pinnacle faction member was next in line for Punk.

Wednesday’s show will also feature the real life couple of Adam Cole and AEW Women’s Champion Britt Baker taking on Orange Cassidy and Kris Statlander in the latest chapter in the feud between their respective factions. Cole and Baker left the duo laying after the opening segment on Dynamite.

Based off an angle Wednesday, Sting and Darby Allin will return to action as they face top contenders The Acclaimed. The latter have been calling out Allin and Sting as of late, including in their pre-match rap before defeating Bear Country Wednesday which drew out Sting and Allin afterward.

TNT Champion Cody Rhodes will also return next week after missing his title defense against Sammy Guevara at last Saturday’s Battle of the Belts due to not being medically cleared.
