Christian Cage says he’s signed new contract with AEW

Christian Cage looks to have inked a new deal with AEW.
While speaking at the post-All Out press conference on Sunday night, Christian stated that Tony Khan has re-signed him to a “big, fat contract.” Christian originally debuted for AEW at Revolution 2021.
Christian spoke in-character at Sunday’s press conference and addressed critics who thought that the announcement of his signing at Revolution 2021 was underwhelming:
It might have even been some of you people who said that I wasn’t worth the hype. I think I’ve proved you all wrong now, didn’t I? I know I proved Tony Khan right because he just re-signed me to a big, fat contract. He opened the vault for me and I deserve every single penny that I got.
Christian is currently the self-proclaimed TNT Champion in AEW. Though Luchasaurus is the actual title holder, Christian has carried around the TNT Championship and had the belt in front of him as he fielded questions from the media after All Out.
With Christian’s help, Luchasaurus retained the TNT Championship against Darby Allin on Sunday night. Luchasaurus won after Allin was distracted by Christian threatening to give Nick Wayne a con-chair-to.
There have recently been rumors that Christian’s friend and former tag team partner Edge could be heading to AEW. Christian was asked about those rumors at the post-All Out press conference, but Christian remained in character and said he was only there to talk about himself and Luchasaurus. Christian said he has no friends other than Luchasaurus.
