Chris Jericho vs. MJF, Sting & Darby Allin vs. 2.0 set for AEW Dynamite

Next Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite from Houston, Texas, will feature the fifth and final Labour of Jericho, an AEW Tag Team title match and the first televised match for Sting since 2015.
After defeating Wardlow in the fourth Labour Wednesday, MJF said that he would indeed face Chris Jericho next week. However, the stipulation is that Jericho cannot use his Judas Effect finisher nor can he walk out to Judas before the match.
The two have wrestled against each other once in a singles match as MJF defeated Jericho at last November’s Full Gear that earned the former a spot in the Inner Circle.
Sting will unite once again with Darby Allin against 2.0 in a Texas tornado match. This has been building since last Wednesday after 2.0 debuted and lost in a six-man match that included Allin on the other side.
It spilled over into Wednesday’s match with Allin and 2.0’s teammate from last week, Daniel Garcia. After Allin won, 2.0 were about to attack but Sting cut them off and hit a suplex on the ramp to run the two off. This will be the legend’s first televised match since he teamed with John Cena against Seth Rollins and Big Show on a September 2015 edition of Raw.
The show will also see the Young Bucks defend the Tag Team titles against Jurassic Express. The champions will be looking for the eighth straight defense of the titles they first won in February 2020. The two team have done battle in a regular tag team match before in AEW as the Bucks picked up a win at All Out in 2020.
The show will also feature Sammy Guevara vs. Shawn Spears, Guevara making a “major” announcement, and Dan Lambert returning for revenge on Lance Archer with two UFC champions in tow.
