Chris Jericho promo added to AEW Dynamite
A Chris Jericho promo has been added to the lineup for this week’s AEW Dynamite.
As announced on social media, Jericho will speak on the Wednesday, July 5 Dynamite episode set for Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Jericho is coming off consecutive losses on last week’s AEW programming. At the Sunday, June 25 AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view, Jericho, Minoru Suzuki, and Sammy Guevara lost to Tetsuya Naito, Sting, and Darby Allin. In a tornado tag match on the Wednesday, June 28 Dynamite, Jericho and Guevara were defeated by Sting and Allin when Jericho submitted to Sting’s Scorpion Deathlock.
Four matches and two promo segments have now been announced for this week’s Dynamite.
The Blind Eliminator Tournament for a future Tag Team title shot kicks off with Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland vs. Orange Cassidy & Darby Allin, Adam Cole & MJF take on a mystery team in another tournament bout, Kenny Omega faces Wheeler Yuta, Britt Baker takes on Ruby Soho in an Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament bout, plus Jon Moxley will speak on the show.
