Chris Jericho & Jake Hager vs. Santana & Ortiz set for AEW Dynamite

After a volatile team meeting on Wednesday, The Inner Circle implodes on next week’s AEW Dynamite as Chris Jericho and Jake Hager take on Santana & Ortiz.

All four men, plus TNT Champion Sammy Guevara, met in the ring Wednesday with a goal of ironing out differences between Santana & Ortiz and Jericho dating back to a trios match against 2point0 and Daniel Garcia where the two iced out Jericho from getting into the match.

The two came out separately from the rest of the group with Santana saying the Inner Circle was always all about Jericho and they were done playing second fiddle. After some arguing and light physicality, Guevara then said he’s done until they figure it out.

Ortiz then laid out the challenge for a tag match next week to settle their issues. Jericho accepted and said that if there’s no attitude adjustment after they beat them, there’s going to be some changes.

Next Wednesday’s show will also see Thunder Rosa vs. Mercedes Martinez in a no DQ match.

The two squared off on last Friday’s Rampage for the first time in an AEW ring and Martinez earned only the second DQ in company history by hitting her with a pipe.

Those were the only two matches announced for next week’s return to Nashville, Tennessee.
