Bryan Danielson vs. Rocky Romero set for AEW Dynamite
For the first time since February 2008, Bryan Danielson will face Rocky Romero (with Orange Cassidy) as part of next Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, the final one before Full Gear.
Danielson will look to continue his surge ahead of his Full Gear clash with Miro in the AEW World title eliminator finals while this will be Romero’s first AEW match since a May Dark: Elevation bout with JD Drake. Danielson and Romero have a long history dating back to 2002 and they last squared off for Ring of Honor nearly 14 years ago.
The show will also feature AEW World Champion Kenny Omega and Hangman Page in a contract signing ahead of their match at Full Gear.
Based on the recent issues between Andrade El Idolo and FTR against PAC and the Lucha Bros, PAC will take on Dax Harwood in a singles match.
Tay Conti, Anna Jay and Thunder Rosa will face AEW Women’s Champion Britt Baker, Jamie Hayter and Rebel in six-woman tag team action. Baker will defend the title against Conti at Full Gear.
In a tag team match made on this week’s Dynamite, Lio Rush will return to an AEW ring to team with Dante Martin against Lee Moriarty and Matt Sydal. This will be Rush’s Dynamite debut.
