Britt Baker vs. Hikaru Shida announced for AEW Dynamite

The lineup for tonight’s episode of Dynamite is now up to five announced matches.

Ahead of tonight’s Dynamite, AEW has announced that Britt Baker will face Hikaru Shida on the episode. It’s taking place at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Here’s what’s been announced for the show:

  • Jon Moxley vs. Darby Allin
  • Nick Jackson vs. Fenix
  • Santana & Ortiz vs. Private Party
  • Britt Baker vs. Hikaru Shida
  • Dynamite Dozen battle royal (final two wrestlers will face each other in a singles match next week, the winner will receive a diamond ring)
  • A “huge announcement” by AEW World Champion Chris Jericho

Baker was first and Shida was second in the top-five roster rankings that AEW released last Friday. The champions of each division aren’t included in the rankings.

This will be Baker’s first singles match since she defeated Bea Priestley on the Full Gear pre-show. Baker was on the episode of AEW Dark that aired last night, with her teaming with AEW Women’s Champion Riho and defeating Big Swole & Kris Statlander.

Shida defeated Big Swole on the episode of AEW Dark that aired the night before Full Gear. Shida was last on Dynamite when she defeated Shanna on October 30.

AEW has also announced that Big Swole vs. Shanna will be part of tonight’s AEW Dark tapings. Kenny Omega will defend his AAA Mega Championship against Jack Evans on the tapings, and both of those matches will air on YouTube next Tuesday (November 26).
