Blake Christian under Ring of Honor/AEW agreement

Indie journeyman Blake Christian now has a contractual home.

Fightful reported Friday that the 25-year-old is now under an agreement with Tony Khan’s Ring of Honor via AEW. They didn’t report whether it was a full-time deal or a tiered contract.

Christian didn’t directly acknowledge the signing, but did tweet the following Friday afternoon:

Christian was part of last month’s ROH Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view in a pre-show trios match, teaming with Tony Deppen and Alex Zayne against Brian Cage and the Gates of Agony. He also appeared at April’s Supercard of Honor in a loss to Colt Cabana.

He has worked a handful of AEW Dark matches as well and competed three times at their July tapings at Orlando’s Universal Studios. Of all the AEW matches that have aired thus far, he is 1-2.

The former WWE NXT wrestler had also appeared for Impact, GCW, NJPW, and a variety of indie promotions. He was released in 2021 from WWE NXT after a short run there under the name Trey Baxter.
