Athena vs. Penelope Ford added to AEW Rampage
A new match and a promo segment have been added to Friday’s AEW Rampage episode.
In a bout announced during Wednesday’s Dynamite, Athena will face Penelope Ford on Friday’s episode. Ford returned to the ring for the first time since January at last week’s AEW Dark: Elevation taping.
Also added to Friday’s show, Blackpool Combat Club member and ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli will speak.
A pair of title matches, plus a first round match in the World Trios Championship tournament are already set for Friday’s episode.
Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee will defend the AEW World Tag Team titles against Private Party’s Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen, plus Hook defends the FTW title against Zack Clayton. In the Trios title tournament, The Trustbusters will take on Best Friends.
