Athena suffers broken nose, will still work ROH Final Battle
Athena suffered a broken nose recently.
She was bloodied up during the ROH tapings held in Montreal on December 5. After winning a squash match against a local wrestler, Athena was attacked by Billie Starkz, and her nose was busted open in the process.
Athena later posted to social media that X-rays revealed her nose is broken but she still plans on wrestling at ROH Final Battle on December 15. Her post has since been deleted.
“Athena pinned Roxanne (Quebec wrestler Rose) with a hard forearm It was a quick squash. Billie Starkz attacked Athena after the match and Athena ended up with her nose busted and she was heavily bleeding,” our own Dave Meltzer wrote in today’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter. PWInsider is reporting the injury is legitimate.
