AEW’s Toni Storm loses CMLL debut to La Catalina

Toni Storm dropped her Arena Mexico debut on Friday night.
The former AEW Women’s World Champion lost to La Catalina in the semi-main event of CMLL’s Viernes Espectacular show. Catalina picked up the clean win after delivering a top rope splash. Storm cut a promo after the match, vowing to return to the promotion.
CMLL posted to Instagram about the match and edited each image so that Storm appears in black and white:
The promotion posted footage of her ring entrance online as well:
Storm vs. Catalina was originally scheduled for the October 11 show in Arena Mexico, but was postponed due to Hurricane Milton. It was Storm’s third straight singles loss after losing to Mayu Iwatani at Stardom Nagoya Golden Fight earlier this month and to Mariah May at AEW All In.
ROH Women’s TV Champion Red Velvet was also on the show. She teamed with Alex Windsor, Samantha Black, and Viva Van in a win over Amapola, Metalica, Olympia & Sanely.
