AEW’s Jon Moxley announced for The People vs. GCW

GCW has booked Jon Moxley for another event this summer. 

The promotion announced on Friday that the reigning GCW World Champion will be at the People vs. GCW on July 29. The event will be held from The Nashville Fairgrounds as part of Starrcast V. It will air live on FITE TV following the Roast of Ric Flair. 

Blake Christian was quick to call out Moxley for a potential match on the show. 

“Home state boy calling out the champ,” Christian wrote on Twitter. 

No matches have been officially confirmed for the event thus far. Bandido, Psycho Clown, Joey Janela, and Bussy (Effy & Allie Katch) are all advertised to appear. 

Earlier this month, GCW announced that Moxley will return to the promotion at You Wouldn’t Understand on June 18. He last defended the GCW World Championship at Joey Janela’s Spring Break 6 on March 31 when he defeated AJ Gray.
