AEW’s Hikaru Shida announced for TJPW Yes! Wonderland 2022
AEW’s Hikaru Shida will return to Japan to take part in a TJPW event next month.
TJPW announced Shida and Moka Miyamoto vs. Maki Itoh and Miyu Yamashita for their Yes! Wonderland 2022 event set for Tuesday, May 3 at Korakuen Hall. The show will stream on the Wrestle Universe streaming service. Tickets for the event are on sale now. A video of the announcement can be seen below.

Shida, 33, last wrestled for TJPW in March, defeating Hikari Noa at the Grand Princess ’22 show. She also appeared at an Ice Ribbon event in March the same weekend, teaming with Tsukasa Fujimoto in a victory over Hamuko Hoshi & Makoto.
Shida defeated Julia Hart in a qualifying match for AEW’s Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament on the April 6 Dynamite in Boston, and teamed with Anna Jay and Ruby Soho in a trios match against The Bunny, Emi Sakura, and Raychell Rose at Wednesday’s AEW Dark: Elevation taping in New Orleans.
