AEW’s Dax Harwood working through torn labrum

Dax Harwood has a torn labrum and FTR’s match against The Briscoes at Death Before Dishonor only made things worse. 

Our own Dave Meltzer reported in The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Harwood came out of the match pretty banged up. 

“Dax Harwood is the latest AEW wrestler working with a torn labrum,” Meltzer wrote. “After the Briscoes match, he came out of it with a swollen eye, a stiff neck and his bad shoulder was worse.”

The day after the ROH pay-per-view, Harwood took to social media to comment on his injuries. 

“The day after Death Before Dishonor. Swollen eye, stiff neck, fucked up shoulder, but you keep going. All for the love of the game,” he wrote. 

Harwood isn’t the only AEW wrestler working through a torn labrum at the moment. Adam Cole is scheduled to return next week and has opted to forgo surgery for the same injury. According to a report from Fightful, Cole has been dealing with the torn labrum since his title program with Hangman Page earlier this year.
