AEW’s Bandido undergoes second surgery for injured wrist


Bandido has undergone successful wrist surgery for a second time.
The AEW star wrote on X Saturday that he had undergone surgery once again for his wrist, thanking the fans and Tony Khan for his support.
“2nd surgery was successfull In first place a wanna say thank you to God for always keep with me!,” he wrote. ”To @AEW workers and fans!! who always support me!! and in a very special mention @TonyKhan for all the attentions that he’ve had to me and my family THANK YOU VERY MUCH”
Earlier in December, Bandido wrote on X that he had three options regarding his wrist, saying it was still bad, and two of those options required surgery. A third would be physiotherapy, but he needed to see how the wrist would respond to it.
“I feel very bad because I just started my new chapter in AEW and now I don’t have clean how long time it will take outside to the ring,” he wrote at the time. “I’m very sorry with the company and the fans who still supporting me in this bad time. I’m trying to do my best in this hard time of my life and I hope see you All as soon as possible thank you very much for all your love.”
Bandido has been out of action since June with the injury, having last wrestled on the June 14 edition of AEW Rampage, losing to Konosuke Takeshita.
